Road Closures
Once again, Fiesta de Santa Fe is rapidly approaching. The very popular
burning of Zozobra "Old Man Gloom" will take place on Thursday,
September 09, 2010 at Fort Marcy Park. Due to the enormous number of
pedestrians walking to the park, NO traffic will be allowed north of
Paseo de Peralta or South of Murales Road onto Old Taos Highway or
Bishops Lodge Road after road closure around 6:00 PM or depending on
pedestrian volume.

Handicap Parking
Handicap Parking is only accessible through the entrance to the
Recreational Complex at Magers Field at the intersection of Bishops
Lodge Road and Artist Road. (East Gate)

KOB-TV will provide live television coverage of the Burning of Zozobra
on its Local Weather Station. The station is available in Albuquerque
and Santa Fe by antenna on DTV channel 4-2 or Comcast cable channel
208. The channel is also available in the Farmington area on DTV
channel 12-2 and the Roswell area on DTV channel 8-2.
Live video streaming of the Burning of Zozobra will also be available
online at www.KOB.com.

Park And Ride
(505-955-2001)- SF Trails (buses/shuttles around town) Will do special
shuttles (large SF Trails buses) from SF Place (mall) to the event
(Sheridan St. Station) with service every 15 minutes until 6 pm; then
30-minute service from 6 to 10 pm; with return buses back to the mall
until 10:30 pm.
Santa Fe "Pick-Up" (shuttles from RailRunner, operated by SF Parking
Division) to the event (Sheridan St. Station). There is NO Parking on
Bishops Lodge Road or Old Taos Highway
Parking is available at the Santa Fe Park & Ride lot behind the Lodge
located on Calle Mejia. All Aboard will provide shuttle service from
the Santa Fe Park & Ride lot, beginning at 6:00 pm and ending at 11:00
pm. The shuttle service will run every 20 minutes and will drop off
at Paseo de Peralta & Grant. This service is free of charge.
Additional parking is available at the Department of Transportation lot
at Pen Road off Cordova Road at the South Capital Rail Runner Station.
SF Parking Division will run shuttles from the South Capital Rail Runner
Station to the Event (Sheridan St. Station).
